'Longwood Harriers AC' clothing available for club members

We encourage all members to make sure they have the appropriate wear for different weathers. To help with this, we have a number of items available and designed for use in a variety of conditions. You don't need expensive 'designer' wear for it to be effective! The Longwood coloured vest is required if you take part in competitions for the club

In addition to the usual sports gear, Athletes should consider having:

• For wet weather: a light waterproof top with hood; a heavier duty waterproof top with hood; waterproof over-trousers; a cap or peaked hat
• For cold weather: a warm 'fleece' type top; warm gloves; warm hat

These can be combined in different conditions. The key to keeping warm and prepared for an event or for training is to have several layers. Layers can be removed in warmer or drier weather; you can put them on if it turns cold or wet, but not if you don't have them!
